Twitter Friends/Blogger Friends...

I am sitting here reading all my "friends" blogs.  I talk about what I read with my family and refer to people I tweet with and blogger that I read as my friends.

Someone said to me you sound like you know them.  I started to think about it, and I do KNOW my blogger/twitter friends.  Some of them I would rather be friends with than my in state friends.  We share stories, thoughts and daily happenings, so how can we not know each other.  I have more in common with twitter friends.  I have all my Lilly Pulitzer friends that share my love of fine clothes, and teacher friends who truly love children.  They are dedicated and don't complain about salaries, principals, parents or bureacurcy.

I can log on a find a friend and just start chatting.  I can read a blog and feel like I am part of their life.  My blog community will reach out and share in a bad day and offer encouragement. Its nice to know that you have someone at your fingertips who are willing to just sit and listen...

So on this Friday as I sit back and drink my coffee, and start my homework, Thanks to all my twitter/blogger friends! I do appreciate you.  Maybe one day we can all get together and relax by the pool. This is from Charleston, SC.  My favorite destination. 

Just another Relaxing Day...

Happy Monday...What a refreshing weekend I had.  Hanging out with my dad by the pool, then fishing with my husband.  I was great spending time with family...
Being out of school you'd think I could just relax , sleep in, and be lazy.  Not me.  I get up at 7:00 to see my family off then it is me time. I love sitting outside enjoying a cup of coffee before I start my day. 



The wild life at my house is amazing.  Listening to the birds, watching the rabbits and of course my cat and dog.  Now we have discovered a neighborhood fox.  Last summer we had a bobcat.  Oh the joys of nature...

After my coffee it is reading text for class then off the school for me.  Yes off to class.  Send daughter to school in the Am and she sends me to school in the Pm .  But we do meet for coffee dates in the middle.  Oh we do love our coffee and shopping for Lilly Pulitzer/Vineyard Vines/J Crew of course.  Lets not forget all the errands I run.

Back to School...

I have been inspired by SubrbnPrincess to start my blog up again.  I use to think I had to write some big inspirational post, but after reading several blogs I have noticed the ones I enjoy the most are just short simple post into people lives about what they are doing.  I have enjoyed people sharing snippets of their lives. If feels like I have friends all over the globe.

So here is a snippet of my life...  I am going back to school.  Not sure why?  I have been teaching for 23 years, have two master degrees and am National board certified.  I have a wonderful husband and a daughter in college.  Maybe I am in what they call the mid-life crisis.  lol  

What ever it is, now I am working on ESOL.  English Second other Language. This should be an interesting year for me...

 

This is my first day of studying.  I don't mind this!  Coffee, quiet patio, birds chirping and cool breeze.  Class starts and 1:15 so I get to sleep in.  Don't laugh but there is this thing called blackboard.  Love it.  You post you work on it.   Then you discuss with classmates.  Wow...   got to love technology.  Now when I have my first test, that may be another story.  Until then...

Monogram Decals Giveaway!

Happy Monday!  What better way to start the week than with a giveaway!

Beepart was kind enough to send me a few of their products...one is an argyle laptop skin....

How cute is that?!  The colour choices are endless!  Beepart also sent me lots of monogram decals!  I immediately started putting them on my water tumbler, vases, wine glasses...anywhere I could see needed my mark! 

How adorable!  I know we arent supposed to put decals in the dishwasher but I decided to put one of my cups in just to see what would happen.  I have run it through about a dozen times and it looks just as good as it did when I first put it on!  My decals arrived very well packaged with instructions for each set.  They are perfect for cars too! 

Because Beepart is an amazing Canadian company they have offered one of my readers a laptop skin and a set of decals too!  There are several ways to enter and the winner will be drawn on Monday, June 13th.
