CupCakes from Maryland Pink and Green~

"Cupcakes are a popular alternative to a birthday cake. For my mother’s birthday party at a local restaurant, guests enjoyed cupcakes. Transporting and displaying cupcakes is a tricky thing. Since I knew that I could not display the cupcakes on a tower or stand at the restaurant where the party was held, I needed to think of a way to present the cupcakes individually.

So I created my own cupcake favors!

These favors would be perfect for a childrens’ party, a bridal or baby shower, or even a bake sale when people will take a cupcake to go!

Here’s what you’ll need:
~ cupcake (of course!)
~ cupcake wrapper
~ cellophane bag
~ ribbon
~ party flag
~ plastic cup

First, wrap the cupcake with the decorative paper. I'll have a tutorial to show you how to make these in the near future, too. ;) Place the cupcake in the plastic cup. I used Solo brand 9 ounce clear plastic cups.

Then, after you add your party flag, slide the cup into the cellophane bag and tie with a ribbon. Easy and cute!

Guests have their individual cupcakes to enjoy at the party or to take with them..."

Another way I have given cupcakes for treats/presents is in these small tins:

This is such an awesome idea!! I think they would look great with some personalized ribbon! ;o)

I will have to keep this in mind for the next time I need to transport cupcakes!
